Beyonce’s Dad Calls Aretha a Child
Just
a day after Aretha Franklin decided that she, not Tina Turner, should
have been deemed “The Queen” by Beyonce Knowles at the Grammys,
Beyonce’s attention-scavenger dad, Matthew, decided to inject himself
into the fray.
“Something this ridiculous — it’s childish, it’s
unprofessional,” said the professional stage father in a statement
Thursday, reports People magazine. “And it’s a sad day when egos get bruised because somebody used the word king, queen, prince or princess.”
Beyonce had introduced Tina Turner — her duet partner on Sunday’ show — as the Queen, which displeased the Queen of Soul.

I think Beyonce sucks anyone is a queen besides her, she’s fake,egotistical, and her and Jay-Z seem to havee a fake relationship. So Her dad can shut his trap, and also Beyonce yells she does not sing. Think about real singers and Divas so her dad does not have nothing to say, get your daughter some more singing lessons and quit telling her to sell sex on stage. Aretha is a queen, Tina is a Queen and there are a list of others who can actually sing. I went off da page because Beyonce acts like she is the best and her dad has his nerve to come on here and say something. Leave Hollywood in Hollywood and go sit down and teach your wife how to do hair and design outfits cause she sucks too. STUCK UP COUNTRY FOLK!!!!

I totally agree with Beyonce’s father, I think it was very childish & unprofessional for Aretha to comment on being the “Queen”. Granted I definetly think she is the Queen, however what harm is it letting Tina be the queen for the night? She is the main person Beyonce can identify with so it aint that Serious! In regards to da otha comments made about B, that had to be a joke right? Now you’ll kno you’ll can’t even Hate on my girl fareal! U just can’t, she is da Truth out here and aint nobody in da game messing wit her in voice or performance. Let alone looks cuz her body is da truth as well so please hate on da next chick cuz u already kno what it is! You should not be so sad about what everyone else says, there just jealous,you should marry anyone that you like you can even marry Jay Z. ,you should even be queen, day and night,you should be the queen of soul like MARRY ANN JACKSON OR DIANA ROSS, but when somebody says something bad about you in front of you just walk away ,but anyway GOD loves you and he cares for you and he wants you to do this no matter what he will always love you and future yourself being a movie star and you are with Jay Z.,Diana ROSS and MICHAEL JACKSON and the movie title was called THE WIZ and you were DOROTHY and you were scared what would you do? But I would click my feet three times that is what I will do so I can get home safely and go to sleep so when I get up I can pray to GOD ,what ever you do just pray everyday but no matter what he will still love you. I think that people who post their opinions should read the leading statement or question before making a comment that has nothing to do with what was said. I am not a big Beyonce fan but I must say she is talented, but the whole thing was not about that is was about Aretha Franklin being upset about Beyonce announcing Tina Turner as the Queen of Soul. I dont think that the comment had anything to do with Beyonce and her level of talent. In closing, I would like to say I hope and pray that the comments made on this subject directed at Beyonce and her family were not made by BLACK PEOPLE. It would be such a shame for us to talk that low about each ohter for all the world to she and read. And would you guys please use a spell check the next time you leave a comment people think we’re ignorant enough without you guys proving them right.

Wow…Beyonce sucks? Really? I must say that I am very disappointed in the quality and subject matter of B’s music, and no, she does not have the collective individual work catalog to warrant her being placed above Mary or Aretha or many others for that matter, but honestly, she is a phenomenal vocalist. Her tone, control, and just overall ability is killing everyone in the game. But hey, that’s just my opinion and I respect all of yours. I think it’s a little over the top to come at her as hard as we do. Plus, this is about Aretha who, while she is the undisputed queen of soul, needs to fall back. Letting B honor Tina and letting Tina shine for a quick second would be the classy and regal thing to do. Everyone knows that Aretha is the queen and one tribute to Tina won’t change that in anyone’s eyes. We all know and appreciate who you are to us, Aretha.

Beyonce’s Dad is right. Aretha’s voice has spoken for itself for generations…..why does she feel she even needs to comment. Both she and Beyonce are exceptional talents and that’s why they make the big bucks. Why does it have to be one or the other? Everybody stop hatin’ and just enjoy the music.

I beleiv that the majority of all your comments are “wrong”, the reason why I say this is because Tina Turner is the Queen of Rock n’ Roll. You guys have it all mixed-up. I don’t know about Aretha Franklin and them or not but I think that Aretha being all jealous about who has the “higher position” is childish.
