What is Molybdenum Disilicide Powder?The appearance molybdenum di-silicate The gray metallic solid has a melting point around 2030degC, a mass density of 6.26g/cm3, is insoluble with most acids but not hydrofluoric or nitric. Its properties include a low coefficient of thermal expansion, good electrical thermal conductivity and dual properties as metal and ceramics. It's brittle even at low temperatures, and it loses its creep resistance above 1200. MoSi2 can be classified into different shapes such as straight rods, U shaped rods, three phase rods, gun rods, five segment rods, groove rods, single threaded rods, double threaded rods and other specifications.

Production of Molybdenum

The mechanical properties are poor of products sintering under cold pressure. When under hot pressure, temperatures range from 1550 to 1750 degrees Celsius, while pressures are 9.8 to 78.5 MPa. The mixture is molybdenum with alumina.
