NSP-3 molecularsieve is a crystal silicon aluminate that has developed a 3-D pore structure, and strong polarity. It exhibits strong adsorption of CO2 molecules and mercaptan.
NSP-3 Molecular Sieve
NSP-3 molecularsieve is a crystalline silica aluminate, with a developed 3-dimensional pore structure. It also has strong polarity.
This gas has an excellent adsorption ability on CO2 & mercaptan molecules. It is therefore suitable for deep natural gas removal.
This equipment is large in area with well-developed channels.

Applicaciones
NSP-3 Molecular Sieve
It can be used to extract mercaptan from natural gas or carbon dioxide in liquefied gas.
Natural gas is composed of a mix of hydrocarbons and other non-hydrocarbon compounds. Long-term CO2,H2S will cause corrosion of equipment, pipelines and pipes. The presence of CO2 will also lead to a low calorific energy value for natural gas. Additionally, LNG raw material CNG (compressed naturally gas) should be removed prior to liquefaction. This will prevent the formation of crystals in cryogenic process, which can clog pipelines, as well as corrosive gases corrosion. Dry ice can be formed by carbon dioxide during liquefaction and cause pipe blockage. CNG must therefore be devoid of high amounts CO2. Before it can be converted to LNG.
