Product Performance of Sorbitan monooleate
The process involves sorbitol as a raw material, followed by a closed-loop dehydration to produce sorbitol and finally an esterification reaction using oleic acids. An amber-colored viscous greasy substance with a distinct oily flavor and melting point of 10-12. It is nonionic with an HLB-value of 4.3. This surfactant has emulsification ability, solubilization and diffusion capability, but it also has a defoaming effect.

Applications Sorbitan monooleate :
